Omar Abdullah, born 10 March 1970, is the son of Mollie Abdullah and Farooq Abdullah and grandson of Sheikh Abdullah, both have remained Chief Ministers of Jammu and Kashmir

National Conference headed by Omar Abdullah, emerged as the single largest party in the Jammu and Kashmir elections, would be a third generation of Abdullah family if he becomes the next chief minister.

Omar Abdulla is married to Payal Abdullah, and has two sons.
